School-Wide Implementation

Students at the Regional Achievement Academy participate in a school-wide Tier I Support System designed to promote positive behavior, academic engagement, and personal responsibility.
Students have the opportunity to earn points throughout the day.  The points are awarded based upon behavior and effort in the following areas and more:

  • Classwork
  • Respect to Peers
  • Respect to Staff
  • Class Participation

Students who meet benchmarks are eligible for incentive activities, including field trips, special events, and more.
This structured support system reinforces positive behaviors, encourages accountability, and provides students with meaningful feedback on their progress.

Positive Behavior Support

We believe in positive behavior support and provide this to students by using a school-wide behavior management system and incentive programs, such as participating in adventure-based educational activities that develop team building and social skills. Some incentive-based activities include kayaking, fishing, rock climbing and more.

Incentive plans are compatible with our students’ individualized academic program and their interests, abilities, and career plans. Our academic, social, and emotional support focuses on work habits, self-control, discipline, socialization, and academic achievement.
