This two-day summer intensive is designed to help school and district leaders shift from viewing leadership as a “cost” to understanding it as a strategic driver of value. Participants will move beyond diagnosing organizational challenges and learn a practical framework for calculating and communicating the return on investment of ethical, people-centered leadership.

Focused on reducing “organizational drift,” participants will explore how to ensure district values consistently guide decisions, priorities, and daily interactions. Leaders will leave better equipped to make a clear, credible case for investing in culture, talent, and transparency as they prepare for the 2026–2027 school year.

Across the two days, participants will engage in:

  • Leader Identity & Renewal: Aligning personal values with organizational mission to sustain effective leadership
  • The Unified Cabinet: Strengthening alignment among the Board, Superintendent, and executive team
  • The Governance Audit: Identifying and eliminating "distractor initiatives" that dilute focus
  • The Leadership Pipeline: Moving from reactive hiring to intentional talent development
  • Crisis & Character: Rebuilding trust through clear, ethical communication
  • Coherent Messaging: Shifting from reporting to storytelling to connect work to values

The workshop concludes with the creation of a 90-Day Coherence Plan–a practical roadmap to better align actions with priorities within your school or district.

Intended Audience: School and District Leaders
