The goal of the Crossroads North program is to provide drug awareness education, ongoing assessment, and academics for classified and non-classified students in grades 6 through 12 who cannot attend school due to substance abuse issues.
Program services include: assessment, group and individual counseling, drug testing and referral for psychiatric evaluation or care when needed. Students also benefit from exposure and participation in healthy lifestyle choices through our advenure based educational program. Our adventure based educational program provides students with monthly field trips to experience activities such as kayaking; fishing; scuba diving; cycling; hiking and rock climbing- just to name a few.
The Crossroads North program works closely with your district SAC counselor to obtain & oversee the academics supplied from your district. Students are consistenly drug tested and monitored. All student work is evaluated and returned to district for the awarding of credits, along with any textbooks or materials that were supplied, upon the student’s transfer or promotion out of the program.
