About our trainer...

trainer

Our trainer, Diane Chapman-Lada, has over 20 years of corporate and post-secondary experience as an instructor of digital business technologies and is commited to the ongoing training needs of life-long learners as those technologies continue to evolve. Achieving Microsot and Certiport Master certifications has set her apart as an expert in industry-recognized computing skills of the highest standard.

During the 1980s, she started her career in Information Technology in the nuclear power industry as the supervisor of an Information Management Center. As the direction of technology changed in the company, Ms. Chapman-Lada was promoted to a senior analyst position. Appointed project manager, she facilitated the migration of the large base of corporate mainframe and minicomputer end users to a new PC LAN/WAN environment by designing and presenting customized training programs in the new business software applications. In the 1990s, she went on to join a consulting firm and delivered all levels of computer training to multiple Fortune 500 companies and government institutions throughout New Jersey as their technical trainer of choice.

Ms. Chapman-Lada's Credentials

  • Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)
  • Microsoft Certified Application
  • Specialist Instructor (MCASI)
  • Microsoft Office Specialist
  • Master Instructor (MMI)
  • Certiport IC3 Authorized Instructor (AI)

Subsequently in post-secondary training and education for close to 10 years, Ms. Chapman-Lada has often been in the dual role of providing technical and administrative network support to Unixbased and Windows Server platforms in addition to serving as computer instructor. She has developed an in-depth knowledge of Information Systems that adds perspective to her classroom presentations while fostering her professional interests in emerging technology and the powerful, online multi-media learning resources enabled by the collaborative, global communities of Web 2.0 environments and the rich user experiences they offer.
