ALL COURSES MEET MICROSOFT CERTIFICATION APPLICATION SPECIALIST (MCAS) EXAM OBJECTIVES
Each course fully addresses all topics in the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) skill sets for each application program. The Microsoft Certified< Application Specialist program is for individuals who use Microsoft’s business desktop software and who seek recognition for their expertise with< specific Microsoft products. Certification candidates must pass one or more proficiency exams in order to earn Microsoft Certified Application Specialist certification. Candidates who pass all five exams achieve the highest level of distinction, the Microsoft Office 2007 Master. Individuals bearing the unique title of Master have become certified in every Microsoft Office 2007 application, setting themselves apart as the world’s foremost Office 2007 experts. Employers enthusiastically hire individuals with MCAS credentials. Courses for each individual Office 2007 program are scheduled to meet twice per week for 12 weeks. Each session is led by a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and Microsoft Certified Application Specialist Instructor (MCASI) and Office 2007 Master in a state-of-the-art computer lab with structured the class fee and meets all exam objectives. Hands-on practice exams that simulate the actual exams will be taken each week for students to assess their progress and to develop comfort with the exam environment. As part of the Microsoft IT Academy Program offered by the MOESC ProVista Institute, students will also have access 24/7 to Microsoft E-learning courses to supplement classroom activities at no additional charge. Scheduling a certification exam at the end of each 12 week session is an additional charge. MOESC is a Certiport iQsystem Testing Center. Microsoft Certified Application Specialist Series exams are proctored exams and must be taken at a Certiport Center (Microsoft Certified Exam Provider). Prerequisites: Candidates for MCAS exams should have the equivalent of six months to one year of hands-on experience (Intermediate to Advanced) in the Microsoft Office 2007 program of interest. An MCAS certificate is earned for each individual exam. MCAS candidates are especially strong in creating, customizing, and organizing business documents by using formatting and/or visual content that is appropriate for the information presented.
